COMPARISON: DR-3 & DR-670 Drum Machines
The DR-670 has more than twice the number of sounds than what the DR-3 has. The 670 has 255 different drum and percussion sounds where the 3 has 120. Also the 670 has 4 more bass sounds than the DR-3 for a total of 16. The DR-670 has more rhythm patterns - it has 200 preset and 200 user adjustable while the DR-3 has only 100 of each.

Another very nice feature of the DR-670 is the fact that the pads the bass notes are inputted with, are set up like a bass guitar fretboard to simplify entering bass parts.
