This exciting new line from Gibson brings to the
table the feel and playability that has become a key
element in so many players techinique without sacrificing
any of that "woody" Gibson tone. With the wider 1 3/16"
nut width and radiused fingerboard the player can effortlessly play all of those difficult phrases with accuracy and relaxation. Another thing that makes this mandolin a dream to play is
the absence of the fingerboard extension which allows the
right hand to access the sweet spot without generating
any of that annoying pick noise. The notes project with
a great deal of volume, depth, and woodiness due to the
warm satin finish over the nicely graded maple back and
sides and solid handcarved spruce top.
